His love for music comes up seems his childhood, getting refined and renewed through years and experiences. In the early teenage period he starts practicing beatbox as something funny and in the same period he discovers the world of deejaying. His first beats were grabbed from the legendary 90's underground techno, which in Rome area was well known with the VIRUS movement and its raves. From this point the research of new music, going deeper and deeper through very different genres, becomes a constant. Being influenced by such different genres as rock 'n' roll (in particular classic, progressive and psichedelic but also harder stuff such metal and punk), 80's and 90's dance, house, ambient, trip hop, popular music, industrial, breakbeat and techno, he provides a wide range of sounds in his sets, going from great lounge and chill out tunes, to deep and minimal beats getting involved with techno grooves. [CONTAINER PODCAST] [15] [STEFANO ROCCHI] Nato a Roma alla fine degli anni ’80, cresce costantemente accompagnato da musica grazie l’aiuto del fratello maggiore Riccardo Rocchi che, in primis come Dj e successivamente con suoni più armoniosi di chitarre e l’ascolto profondo di colonne sonore, non fa mai mancare la materia in casa. [CONTAINER PODCAST] [12] [SKIRT] DJ Skirt (real name Bethany DeMoss) was born in Houston Texas and has been residing in Birmingham UK for the last decade. She bought her turntables in 1998 and has been mixing vinyl ever since, having played records in many techno clubs all over the UK and internationally in places like Berlin, Athens, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Glasgow, Dublin, Amsterdam in recent years. DJ Skirt started producing her own music in 2001 and has released records on Horizontal Ground, Frozen Border, Semantica and remixes on labels such as Semantica, Perc Trax and Sect. Her production style is somewhat different to her DJ approach. Her own productions and remixes often show a much more experimental side of the artist, however when she is behind the decks it is purely the intention to devastate the dancefloor with dark and powerful techno beats to make the body move. [CONTAINER PODCAST] [11] [SURGEON] *Podcast from Rinse FM broadcast Birmingham techno artist Anthony Child has rapidly built a solid and, to a certain extent, innovative catalog of minimal dancefloor techno since his Surgeon releases began appearing in 1991. Compared favorably with Detroit original Jeff Mills from his earliest Downwards singles on forward, Child's tracks have been a mainstay in the popular Motor City DJ's sets. Although Surgeon releases have worked an increasing affectation for acid and trance, an economy of sound and basic hardness combine his and Mills' sound. A noted and increasingly popular DJ himself, Child grokked his skills from hip-hop and electro jocks ("Tour de France" is a mainstay of his DJ sets), filling out his style with a driving toughness and appreciation for rapid cutting and flipping. When he was 15 he started as a drummer in a small rockn`n roll garage band. He also tried himself as a Jungle Mc , and he also had a few chances to show his skillz at some small Drum & Bass Partys in Stuttgart ! But after a few times of trying he needed a new challenge! Back in the days of 2000 Francesco discovered that music is his beloved way to communicate to people and started to get into playing dark psytrance records down in the South of Germany. 2007 was his year to switch to Techno music to develop his own style of underground and non-commercial sound and since then he released on different labels such as Plastiq, Das Ohr and Italo Business, Truth Tracks . In 2010 he moved to Berlin with the idea to study sound engineering and got hit by the full force of the city's underground quality.

Thanks to the advent of the first computers like Commodore Vic 20 and 64, he began to create his first loops. After one year Leo started to play in Rome outskint’s clubs under the pseudonym Dj Mc, when was impossibile to find in Rome any trace of electronic beat. He became a big analogue synths collector and decided to spend his daily life into the creation of beats and sound research. In 1990 his recordings career stared at ACV records where he will make more then 20 seminal albums like Attack Random, Riders of the future, Noise Generation, Muta, Cannibald and Aeon. In 1991 Leo met Lory D and in a small garage located in the north of Rome they started the alternative music movement universally known as The Sound of Rome, who spreaded Techno music in Rome and all over Italy. Nel 1999 fonda “Eva Kant dj project” un progetto tutto al femminile che segna una tappa fondamentale e rappresenta un’esperienza veramente significativa nel movimento techno underground romano e non solo di quegli anni. He bought his first drum machine and began playing with sounds in 2005 inspired by live sets. He has a strong break influence in his music coming from Hip Hop as a child as well as Drum & Bass and Dubstep later in his life. He experimented producing various genres of electronic music from Trip Hop, Breakbeat, Drum & Bass, Dubstep to Hardtechno and discovered and focused on Minimal and Techno beats in 2008.
