To many, the Bible is confusing and irrelevant. The Bible claims to be God’s word to us, why should I trust its claim? We will provide solid reasons to believe that the Bible is God’s Word and how taking it seriously is a real advantage in life.

Christians seem so narrow minded, like they have it all figured out. Why are they so arrogant in this way? Jesus Himself claimed to be the “only way” to God, this leaves Christians or anyone else the option of completely accepting or rejecting Him.

In this message, we will show why Jesus and Christianity are different than the other religious teachers and religions in the world.

The most dangerous of the fools are the Halal and Nabal. These two fools can bring tremendous damage to people and organizations. We all should be aware of our tendency to desire praise and ability to inflict harm on others.

The CONTROL fool is driven from a heart of stubborn self centeredness. When we use control or anger to manipulate, we will FRUSTRATE others and eventually drive people far from us.

A life of ease doesn’t deliver the magic! This fool is constantly disappointed but never clues into the consequences; instead they scan the horizon for another BIG IDEA.

Our heart guides our approach to life and relationships. Our hearts are SAD: They contain selfishness, arrogance and damage. From these heart problems we choose strategies that create tremendous trouble in our lives

POWER cuts across many stewardships. If we seek power or influence ahead of the right procedure and timing for gaining it, the strategies we use to get it can bring us down.

SEX is a gift from God to be celebrated. We must be careful to keep sex inside God’s boundaries because violating them directly impacts our family life both present and future.

Money is a stewardship that impacts many areas of our lives. God wants us to use it for His purposes and enjoy it. Its purpose is provide for our needs and the needs of our family. It is also meant to be used to help others, to buy wisdom and bring enjoyment.

What’s the key to hanging in there with God for a lifetime? With so many who bail and check out from following Christ, what can we do remain “Convinced” until our last breath? Faith is the key—both trusting in Him and fearing Him to remain loyal no matter the cost.

The goal of this message is to show how the Bible is a guide and how specific convictions help you make real progress as you walk with Holy Spirit. Maturity means living out of what is true and continuing to learn over a lifetime.

Becoming convinced of the right things means you have to know God and continually walk with Him over time no matter what you face. Walking with God is a learning experience and it’s something you have to fight for and devote time to. It’s not a formula but a relationship with the living God.

We are all convinced people. Everyone lives their life based on the things of which they have become convinced. Everyone, also, has real outcomes that result from the way they choose to live their life.

At the end of each year we naturally take a look back at what we have accomplished. As we take time to look back we need to continually choose contentment versus comparison.

Talk is cheap, we are called to act out our faith in real life experiences. There is power in having an embodied experience where we step into action and live out our faith in tangible ways.

The world views “stepping down” (being forced or pressured) as a failure, but humility is the path that pleases God and fulfills His purposes.

As opposed to turning or running away from our muddy and messy world, Jesus stepped in…. How can I step in? Rather than…moving away from problems, to comfort. God himself became personally involved in our situation in Jesus
