In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about how we as a people of God can learn to be aligned with the Spirit of God so that we can see and respond to His will. We are in a war. We are called, as children of God, to first recognize the war, and then to fight like the battle ready people we are.  God has more for us. But we are in the war for the more. It’s a two-fold war. We are battling ourselves and the resistance within the four walls of the church and we are battling against the culture and what the world is saying. In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about the importance of doing hard things. Oftentimes, we think that we are insignificant. That our daily lives don’t hold any importance. But the truth is, everyday we are doing things that some would consider difficult. It may be mundane in our view. It may seem of little value. But, living the Christian life is anything but insignificant. Walking in the spirit is rarely easy. There are always going to be trials and push back.  There are times that we will need to make difficult decisions because our spirit requires it. Sometimes there will be demonic spirits that bring confusion. Making us second guess what the Lord has called us to do. They will bring interference. In this episode, Pastor Cindy discusses the unseen spirit war that we are in right now. It’s a war of Faith versus Fear. When we live according to the spirit and walk in the ways of the Kingdom of God, we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against evil, dark forces that are trying to steal, kill and destroy. The enemy's goal is to steal our inheritance, kill our offspring, and destroy our very lives. We are about to experience the greatest fear and the greatest faith ever released on this earth. They will be taking place at the same time. If we are not growing in faith, which is also evidenced by growing in the peace of God, we will be growing in fear and the anxiety that will ultimately even cause men’s hearts to fail. In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about pentecost. She compares the passing of Elijiah’s mantle to Elisha to the mantle passing that took place when Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit. The beautiful thing about the mantle is that it is much bigger than the one it’s being passed to. The mantle brings weight. It brings power and authority. In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about the importance of hanging on to the words that God says over you. Throughout our lives God speaks in different ways. We can hear His voice in times of prayer, through a prophetic word or through holy moments of basking in His presence. Whatever way He speaks to you, write it down. Hold on to it. Keep believing for it. God will ALWAYS bring to pass what He says He will do if we choose to believe it and continue to walk it out in faith. Often times our circumstances will try to speak a louder word, but God's word is the standard. If He says healing is ours, then we can expect healing. If He says restoration is coming, then we can expect to witness that restoration. In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about how we can partner with God’s desire to perform miracles on our behalf. It’s important for us to be positioned to receive what He has. We can be positioned in our lives with people and in our proximity to the presence of God. We can also position our hearts to be ready and expectant. We also can be prepared to go on assignment.
