27/03/2023 Duración: 02h49minIt's 'That 70's Show' with John Byrne and Martin Moore, who were just impressionable teenagers in a grim era of League of Ireland football as the crowds seemed to disappear overnight. Part 1, recorded at the Four Provinces Pub in Kimmage/Crumlin, takes us from the end of the six-in-a-row in 1970 through to the 1975/76 season, when the club finished rock bottom of the league table for the first and only time in history. John and Martin recall the highs but mostly lows of a decade that doesn't get enough love, in their view. There's even the Con Murphy narrated story of three FAI Cup replays with Athlone on three consecutive evenings along the way, with contributions by Jim Conroy and Mick Leech.
