Well, friends. It IS cuffing season, and many of us are thinking about romantic relationships–The start of one, the end of one, or the lack of one! Tune in to this episode to hear from Isaac how we can find eternal confidence in Jesus, which allows us to navigate love, sex and dating better than we ever have before.

How do we hear from God, especially when we feel lost and alone? We had the pleasure to be led by Dana Fricker into this reflection. She shared her personal learning experience while leading us to understand how we can identify God's voice in our lives, which enables us to take the steps he has told us to take.

On our last week of "Vices," Joshua Celestin dives deep to help us understand why a dissatisfied heart will always lead to a disappointed life, as exemplified in 1 Timothy 6:6-10. His reflection of this theme comes with practical application points that guide us into seeking godliness and contentment.

Continuing the "Vices" series, David Branch shares with us his personal story of how jealousy has impacted his life. We reflect on 1 Samuel 18 while looking for ways to identify jealousy in our own lives and respond, in order to build God's Kingdom, not our kingdom.

In this week's sermon, we navigate Lust and sexual sin. We invite you to "leave shame at the door," as we process what lust looks like for different people, and what are the steps towards the healing that Jesus provides.

This week we are introduced to the first specific Vice in this series: Gossip. We look at Proverbs to process what gossip is, why we do it and how we can respond as followers of Jesus, to bring unity in relationships that might have been divided by gossip.

Introducing the new series, Isaac defines Vices as "addictions and habits that have a grip on our lives." He encourages us to embrace the reality of our brokenness while providing practical steps to aim towards God's ideal design for us. This week's sermon was out of Romans 7:14-25–8:2. Limp: "Our sinful temptations, impure motives, or weaknesses that we see as flaw." Kicking off the 2021 Fall Semester, Pastor Isaac Trevino leads a reflection on becoming aware of our limps and vulnerably leading with it, as revealed in 2 Corinthians 12:1-10.

Pain is all around us. Just one look and we can see trust being broken, people being used, and many other sorts of maltreatment. Dealing with all that makes us want to lash out at the world, but Jesus gives us a better way to withstand suffering.
