This week the Ottawa Champions announced that Horn would not be coming back as the teams pitching coach and accepted a promotion in a higher league. I want to wish Billy all the best this season in Long Island!

Then right off the bat... To start off show Milwaukee Brewers Art Charles joins us after he was picked up in the rule 5 draft by the Brewers from the Reds. Before that Art played the 2016 season in the CanAm League with the New Jersey Jackals, finishing off the year with a .353 batting average and 29 homeruns. Later on, we chat with Ottawa Champions closer Tyler Wilson who is turning 27 today so more importantly lets wish Tyler a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And to all of you... On the 38th edition of Around the Diamond, aired on December 3rd on CKDJ 107.9 we welcome our guest Stubby Clapp! Stubby has now been named the AAA manager for the St. Louis Cardinals but played in the big leagues with the Cardinals in 2001. Although he played at the highest level, Stubby also played for team Canada at the World Baseball Classic and coached team Canada once he retired. Now the Windsor Ontario native is living in Tennessee and was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 1992.
