  • Episode 32 – Part 2 – Paul Armstrong

    11/02/2011

Here is Part 2.  We continue discussing Paul’s background and then move into some tips and tricks.  We also get into a bit more “theory” talk and what swirls in the brain as we produce.  I always find it interesting to hear what other people think about when they create with audio.  Often times I end up feeling less weird about what goes on in my head!  Of course its possible I am just wrong.  BTW I feature a bit more audio in this part and full audio can be heard by going to the show notes. show32_2_021111

Marice Tobias is a world respected voiceover consultant.  She is more than a coach and has a reputation matched by almost none other.  You have heard her name mentioned in many other episodes by the biggest names in the industry.  I personally found this episode to be valuable as she speaks truth and doesn’t pull any punches while doing so.  If you have interest in expanding your voiceover career or are at the top and need some rejuvenation I think you will enjoy what she has to say. show29_1_102510

  • Episode 27 – Part 1 – Sean Caldwell

    03/08/2010

Sean Caldwell is a worldwide Radio Imaging and TV Promo voice talent.  This episode was VERY informative and very direct.  We do start with his background and the steps he took on his way up the ladder.  We also get into the technical aspects of his world.  He works out of multiple studios and uses a lot of outboard gear.  But I think the best part of this episode is the honesty about the business of voice.  From his outlook on the current climate for the “Big time” guys and those just starting out to his thoughts on the future Sean gives a perspective I don’t think we have heard before. show27_1_080210

  • Episode 27 – Part 2 – Sean Caldwell

    03/08/2010

….Sean gives a perspective I don’t think we have heard before. Part 2 continues with some listener questions, tech speak and then a very necessary look at the world in which we all try to earn a living.  I was about to end the episode like normal and then I think something hit me and I thought wait, we might have something good going.  So part 2 runs longer than normal but I think its worth it. Listen to the end for special deals, sponsors and an upcoming contest.  PLUS we get the first word that the next episode will be a BIG one.  the 2nd anniversary show is coming soon! Also I (Ryan) go on a tangent about an awful movie. show27_2_080210
