Also, Jamie looked in vain for Tina Turner for an hour and a half. We somehow talk more about Mel Gibson's questionable movie roles of the late 90's - early 2000's than the fact that he is just a trash pile of a human being. A sequel that removes Guttenberg and Ally Sheedy (basically all the charm) so Doug and Jamie are stuck with Fischer Stevens and a robot devoid of humor and personality. Cynthia Gibb is given nothing to do but Doug and Jamie would watch a different film starring she and the cab driver, with whom she has the most chemistry. Doug is mad! He's so mad at this movie that he even recommends a movie he doesn't like at the end of the episode. Jamie absolutely loves the Shit Sisters and tries clinging to that to help her get through this film. A confusing mix of gross and bland deaths, terrible acting, writing, directing and editing come together to create a shameful sequel to one of the best films we've covered on the podcast.
