Recently, the Dream Team executive director, Scott Matter, and current Dream Team members Jeremiah and Ennovy appeared on the "The Kelly Clarkson Show" to introduce the organization and its mission to the show's national audience. Do you know someone living with Multiple Sclerosis? This week is MS Awareness Week and currently 2.9 people in the world have MS. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). RAGBRAI Ride Director Matt Phippen is one of those people living with MS. TOMRV is back on June 7 and 8!! This is a challenging two day bike ride based in Iowa that has been in existence since 1978. Tina Anderson from the Quad Cities Bike Club is on to talk about this popular event that attracts over 1,000 cyclists annually. Riders come to ride the scenic and challenging roads along the glacier-carved Mississippi River Valley. From flat stretches to steep bluffs, TOMRV offers a variety of terrains that challenge riders, from competitive racers to fitness enthusiasts. The Iowa Bike Expo is a one day event in Des Moines every January. This must-attend event is run by the Iowa Bicycle Coalition and takes place on the same day that RAGBRAI announces the route.
