These events are community-based and are meant to facilitate conversation and education. Following the discussion led by our moderator, the floor is opened for questions and comments from the crowd. We saw an uptick in the acceptance of political figureheads communicating with their constituents via Twitter and Facebook during President Obama’s terms in office. With the social media surrounding the most recent presidential campaign, President Trump’s inauguration, and the various social justice campaigns arising as a result of the political landscape we wanted to sit down with a team of community specialists to talk about usage and impact of socia
