There's discussion on Palace assets including coverage of the preference between Ismaila Sarr and Ebe Eze, the prospects for the popular Daniel Munoz and Jean-Phillipe Mateta, but what's the impact for The Eagles with Marc Guehi suspended for the first game at Manchester City? 08/04/2025 Duración: 52min

Suj and James discuss growing concerns about the entertainment on offer in the Premier League and discuss reasons why there may be negativity towards what many are watching. Conversations include being influenced by who you support as the majority of teams have underwhelmed against expectation, the impact of VAR stoppages and why too much football may be having an impact on 'safety first' tactics that many managers are deploying. • Double Jeopardy | Planet FPL S. 8 Ep. 45 | GW31 Review | Fantasy Premier League

    07/04/2025 Duración: 01h47min

Suj and James discuss the weekend's Premier League football and it was largely another low scoring week for Fantasy managers with Mo Salah amongst many popular assets who blanked. But with Alexander Isak and Newcastle assets still to go at Leicester the outlook could look very different by the end of the day. Newcastle of course double next, as do Crystal Palace who beat rivals Brighton, but not without issues as Marc Guehi was sent off but Daniel Munoz, Ebe Eze and Jean-Phillipe Mateta all returned well. Then there's three further doubles in Gameweek 33, Arsenal and Man City both underwhelmed as they drew on the road but Villa did beat Forest, though they did it was a heavily rotated team, and there may be more heavily roattion to come across Gameweeks 32 and 33 that may concern those looking to Bench Boost. Plus, Liverpool were beaten at Fulham, Southampton were relegated and Suj's Wildcard hasn't got off to the best of starts. Tomorrow on on Planet FPL: The People's Poll, Are We Bored With Football? T

  • GW31 Wildcards | Chip Talk | Planet FPL 2024/25

    04/04/2025 Duración: 01h21min

Clayton joins James for a Podcast stacked full of important information that focus around advice for those on Wildcards now. There's a look at Wildcard Drafts setting to Bench Boost in both 32 and 33, Free Hitting in 33 and how those without a Free Hit Chip may want to consider navigating through the period of Gameweeks 33 and 34. A period that we now know is confirmed following yesterday's announcement on Gameweeks 33 and 34, but there's a warning from James of why he believes there's every chance no team doubles in GW36. And that has a lot to do with Tottenham; yes them; who lost again at Chelsea last night and the Podcast concludes with discussion on the game and why Ange Postecoglu has now completely lost the fans. Tomorrow on on Planet FPL: James presents The GW31 Deadline Stream, live and exclusive on the Planet FPL YouTube Channel at 10am BST Today on Patreon: The Differential Show (IT+) and The GW31 Team News Stream (AT) For the full Planet FPL schedule this week, including our offering on Patreo

  • Don't Look Back Elanga | Planet FPL S. 8 Ep. 44 | GW30 Review | Fantasy Premier League

    03/04/2025 Duración: 01h43min

Suj and James discuss the 9 games played so far in GW30 and it wasn't quite what many may have hoped it would be, as Mo Salah blanked, all Crystal Palace assets blanked as they got a late qualiser to draw at Southampton, Bournemouth lost to Ipswich and Manchester City strolled a 2-0 victory against Leicester. Rotation bit many, with some like Phil Foden benched, though Bukayo Saka returned as a substitute, but Justrin Kluivert didn't make the squad at all.But fun with flags (does not) continue, with Alexander Isak and Kieran Trippier having potential groin issues and Arsenal's Gabriel set for an extended absence after pulling his hamstring. Replacing Gabriel is high on the agenda, with teammate William Saliba and players with upcoming doubles high on the list of players to target and Newcastle assets will feel right for many looking for additions this week. But the biggest result for many last night was at The Amex, where Aston Villa's victory at Brighton takes away the bonus point potential for Unai Emery

  • GW30 Wildcards | Chip Talk | Planet FPL 2024/25

    01/04/2025 Duración: 55min

Suj and James look at possibilities for those on Wildcard now with James having several drafts prepared, looking at both targeting a Bench Boost in GW32 and GW33, what difference aiming to Free Hit in GW33 would make, what planning to Free Hit in GW33 might change and there's also coverage of what those without a Free Hit may want to do and includes a set up that makes a Bench Boost viable. Many of the drafts discussed look similar and there will be some groupthink at play with Crystal Palace and Manchester City playing teams in the bottom three and now projected to Double in 33, but there is a repeated warning that the projections may be wrong. Does the front 3 pick itself? Newcastle assets are covered, Cole Palmer v Bukayo Saka and lots more. • Chelsea v Tottenham | CotC with Gary Mantle & Ricky Saunders | Planet FPL 2024/25

    26/03/2025 Duración: 01h16min

It's West v North London on Clash of the Correspondents this week as James is joined by Chelsea fan Gary Mantle and Tottenham Hotspur fan Ricky Saunders to discuss managers, expectations and FPL ahead of next Thursday's GW30 meeting at Stamford Bridge. Both managers are under scrutiny with Chelsea fans seemingly split at the moment on Enzo Maresca, with form inconsistent, and qualification for next season's Champions League in the balance. And is it win the Europa League or bust for Ange Postecoglu? It's beginning to feel like it might be. That makes investment in Tottenham players in FPL awkward with the Europa clearly the priority, but with many FPL managers set to Wildcard in GW31 and with Tottenham then facing Southampton and Wolves is there something that can be punted on? There's coverage of Chelsea assets too, with their next 3 looking good for the potential the attacking players, but Christopher Nkunku remains inconsistent, Nicolas Jackson has been a huge miss, and Cole Palmer hasn't scored since

And for Villa they have a Champions League Quarter Final which makes their FPL assets particular difficult to assess with a juicy fixture at Southampton between the games with PSG. And Brighton could well appeal then to as they host Leicester, but are they liable for rotation too. There's coverage of defensive assets from both, the likes of Yankubah Minteh, Kaoru Mitoma, Marco Asensio and Marcus Rashford, plus talismen Joao Pedro and Ollie Watkins as well as the seemingly rotation proof Morgan Rogers.
