  • Ep 915 | The Golden Bachelor’s Secret Past

    30/11/2023 Duración: 57min

Today we're discussing some big pop culture topics in the news, as well as the ongoing depravity of Hamas supporters in America. First, we look at Paris Hilton's announcement of her daughter London, born via surrogacy, and give a reminder of why surrogacy is so morally wrong, especially in cases like this in which the choice was merely out of fear of giving birth. Then, a young Kansas City Chiefs fan is being accused of wearing blackface at a game and perpetuating racist stereotypes. We break down why this is so absurd and why reporters get away with this kind of terrible journalism. We also break down the ever-growing trend among the Left of supporting Hamas and glorifying Islam. We dive into the truth behind Islam and explain why it's so dangerous for clueless liberals to latch onto this ideology. Then, is the "Golden Bachelor" really as wholesome as his producers made him out to be? We cover this, as well as what's going on with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. --- Timecodes: (00:45) Intro (02:43) Paris H

  • Ep 914 | Holistic Parents vs. the State of Iowa | Guest: Emily Donlin

    29/11/2023 Duración: 01h07min

Today we're joined by Emily Donlin, an Iowa mother who is under investigation by the Department of Health and Human Services after her newborn baby's umbilical cord tested positive for cocaine even though she has never consumed the drug. What ensued over the following few months was a nightmare for the family, including endless drug tests that all came back negative, the threat of removing the kids from the parents' care, and the installation of a state legal guardian over the baby. Emily shares the story from the beginning to where the family is at now and why, despite some wins in court, there's still a big battle ahead to clear her name. --- Timecodes: (01:08) Being told about the positive test (10:24) First DHS interaction (17:15) Dealing with DHS & supervision (37:00) Government accountability  (51:40) DHS doubles down (56:06) Retesting the umbilical cord (59:00) Dismissal (01:02:08) Child abuse registry & next steps --- Today's Sponsors: A'Del — go to adelnaturalcosmetics.com and enter promo code

  • Ep 913 | Target Gayifies Christmas

    28/11/2023 Duración: 51min

Today we're looking at Target's new LGBTQ Christmas decoration line and the employee who was hired as a "Senior LGBTQIA+ Segmentation Strategist and Pride Lead," indicating that the company doesn't intend to back down on its Pride controversies from earlier in the year. We explain why it's so important to turn away from companies like this and use our dollars elsewhere. Then, popular magazine Cosmopolitan highlighted the Satanic Temple's abortion clinic and its "abortion rituals" in a post this week. The satanic abortion clinic aims to provide abortions as a "religious ritual," thereby avoiding certain abortion restrictions. We explain the obvious implications of this. We also share the tragic story of Hans Schmidt, pastor and father, who was shot in the head while preaching on a street corner, and why these kinds of stories don't make the news when they should. --- Timecodes: (02:17) Intro / Thanksgiving recap (11:45) Target Christmas pride line (29:40) Satanic Temple abortion clinic (40:04) Abortion witc

  • Ep 912 | How Small Farms Are Saving America | Guest: John Klar

    27/11/2023 Duración: 34min

Today we're joined by farmer and writer John Klar, author of “Small Farm Republic: Why Conservatives Must Embrace Local Agriculture, Reject Climate Alarmism, and Lead an Environmental Revival,” to discuss the importance of small, independent farming and the food economy. We start off with why climate activism seems to be a growing religion. We respond to those who claim local farming is bad for the environment and ask why climate activists are trying to get rid of things like cows, which give us food, when things that don't give us food, such as fireworks, generate many more carbon emissions. We explain how corporate actors sacrifice small farms and why people in big cities would also benefit from small farming. John tells his story of getting Lyme disease and how healthy food became essential for healing, and we discuss the cease and desist he was handed from PETA. • Ep 911 | How Many Kids Should Christians Have? | Q&A

    21/11/2023 Duración: 36min

Today, we're answering a few of your questions. Is the number of kids a Christian has freedom of conscience, or are we to have many regardless of our desires? Should abortion doctors get the death penalty? Will we see our miscarried babies in heaven and know them? We also cover go-to coffee orders, favorite Bible verses, and looking forward to small things every day. --- Timecodes: (01:17) Is number of kids a Christian has freedom of conscience or are we to have many? • Ep 910 | Are We on Stolen Land? | Guest: Dr. Jeff Fynn-Paul

    20/11/2023 Duración: 37min

Today we're joined by historian Dr. Jeff Fynn-Paul to discuss his book "Not Stolen: The Truth About European Colonialism in the New World" and to answer many questions about “stolen land,” Thanksgiving, and colonialism. First, we ask the question, “Are we on stolen land?” and explain how the answer is much more complicated than we have been led to believe. We look at Howard Zinn’s "A People's History of the United States" and how this became the standard history of America, when in reality many scholars saw him as a radical. We discuss the truth about Christopher Columbus, including the wildly inflated numbers of indigenous people he is claimed to have murdered, and the reality that historical figures are more complicated than “evil and good.” We also discuss whether Thanksgiving is oppressive and what we should make of the claim that we owe Native Americans reparations. --- Timecodes: (00:40) Intro (03:40) Smallpox blankets (05:50) 'A People's History of the United States' (08:35) Christopher Columbus (13

  • Ep 909 | The Left Is Falling in Love with Osama bin Laden | Guest: James Lindsay

    16/11/2023 Duración: 01h09min

Today we're joined again by our friend James Lindsay, founder of New Discourses, to discuss what's going on behind the debate about and violent protests against the Israel-Hamas conflict and what left-wing theories have to do with it. First, we look at what happened with James' recent restriction on X and his battle with feminists over their ideology. We discuss how radical feminism is one of the causes of transgender ideology and why it's important to decipher whether feminism can actually be a cure for it or not. Then, we unpack the language of the Left when it comes to simultaneously labeling Jewish people "white supremacists" and groups like Hamas "liberation fighters." We ask whether Leftist activists understand that Islam and Hamas are not interested in their left-wing coalition. We also look at a new trend on TikTok that's showing young people reading Osama bin Laden's "Letter to America" and siding with him. And if those on the Left are this willing to side with terrorists, what's stopping them from u

  • Ep 908 | Calling Out Cru’s LGBTQ Compromise

    15/11/2023 Duración: 50min

Today we're talking about Dr. Rosaria Butterfield's excellent talk at Liberty University last week, where she called out multiple Christian ministries for their weak stances on LGBTQ topics. We talk about Dr. Butterfield's five lies of our culture and why she nails the true, biblical definition of gender as well as how we should view same-sex attraction and same-sex-attracted Christians. In her talk, Dr. Butterfield called out the Revoice conference, Preston Sprinkle's Exiles in Babylon conference, and Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). We go through each of these ministries and some of what they teach about same-sex attraction and pronoun hospitality and explain why it's so important for ministries to be clear and explicit on these topics. Then, we take a look a video making the rounds on X of a woman trying to get out of a ticket because she's ... indigenous and nonbinary? Note: The Cru article mentioned is on Cru's staff site, which is only available via login for Cru staff. If you'd like to read i

  • Ep 907 | RFK's Feet, Baby Indi & Abortion Wins

    14/11/2023 Duración: 52min

Today we talk about the horrendous story coming out of the U.K. of 8-month-old Indi Gregory, who was forced off of life support by the British government despite her parents' pleas for treatment. This, unfortunately, is not a unique occurrence, as it has now happened to multiple babies and children in the U.K. The Italian government even stepped in for baby Indi, offering full citizenship and full coverage of medical expenses, only for the U.K. government to reject the offer and force her to die instead. Then, life seems to be a losing issue in Ohio and Kentucky as we review the results of the recent elections that saw big wins for abortion. We go over what this means for these states and look at the responses from those pleading for conservatives to compromise on the pro-life issue in order to actually win elections. We explain why compromising just isn't an option, especially when the other side wouldn't dream of compromising. Then, RFK Jr. was spotted recently on a flight ... barefoot? We read our official

  • Ep 906 | Time to Boycott Scholastic Books | Guest: Kirk Cameron

    13/11/2023 Duración: 51min

Today we're joined by our friend Kirk Cameron to talk about his new book, "The Fox, the Fair, and the Invention Scare," as well as the rise of inappropriate books for children in schools and why it matters to fight back. First, we recap our last conversation with Kirk, in which he declared public schools enemy number one. Is this still the case, and what should Christians who work in public schools do to combat the ever-growing hostility toward their worldview? We look at where inappropriate children's books are coming from and explain how Scholastic Books is a wolf in sheep's clothing attempting to force gender ideology books among the books we know and love. Kirk shares about his alternative to Scholastic Book Fairs, SkyTree Books Fairs, and we discuss why he feels to passionately about this subject and why it's so important for us as Christians to stand against the indoctrination of kids. We end with some encouragement on creating good soil for our children and the optimism we can have. --- Timecodes: (

  • Ep 905 | What's Really Going On in Israel? | Guest: Josh Hammer

    09/11/2023 Duración: 01h03min

Today we’re joined by Newsweek senior editor at large Josh Hammer to discuss Israel, Gaza, and the international response to the war. We start off with an explanation of why the October 7 attacks in Israel are such a big deal and why this conflict is different from other Middle East conflicts. We explain what pro-Palestinian protesters mean when they say popular mottos such as "resistance by all means" and "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free." We also look at the rise in anti-Semitism across the world and in our back yard and look into the narrative that Israel is an evil actor in this conflict. But did the land belong to the Palestinians originally, and what does true liberation for Palestinians actually mean? We cover all this and more. --- Timecodes: (01:20) Why is Oct 7 such a big deal? • Ep 904 | My Response to Andy Stanley's LGBTQ Sermon

    08/11/2023 Duración: 01h03min

Today is the long-awaited response to Andy Stanley's LGBTQ sermon at the Unconditional Conference. We go in-depth with what exactly Stanley said in his sermon about Christianity in relation to LGBTQ issues and "identities" and his statement that Rosaria Butterfield and Dr. Christopher Yuan, who have an abundance of wisdom on this topic, have nothing to say to parents struggling with their kids' LGBTQ "identities." But what does Stanley get wrong by claiming that homosexuality is an identity, and why does it matter? • Ep 902 | Kat Von D on Becoming a Christian

    06/11/2023 Duración: 01h15min

Today we’re joined by tattoo artist and entrepreneur Kat Von D to discuss her incredible testimony of coming to faith in Christ and her ongoing faith journey. Kat explains her upbringing and how she initially rebelled against going to church because it was only something she was told to do. We take a look at her rise to fame through the shows "Miami Ink" and "LA Ink" and her interest in spiritual practices that were just methods of putting Band-Aids on a sinking ship. She recalls her journey to sobriety and how her husband helped her readjust her thinking on not just her faith but also some political topics. We discuss her viral baptism video, some of the backlash she’s gotten from both non-Christians and Christians, and how she can actually use certain aspects of her life and style to reach those who may feel ostracized by Christianity or “Christian culture.” Then, what would Kat tell those who have questions about Christianity as she did? --- Timecodes: (05:05) How Kat & Allie became friends (08:43) Kat'

Today we’re joined by professor and apologist Dr. Sean McDowell for part two on our discussion about reaching the younger generation with the gospel. We continue with a discussion about the age of the Earth and whether it actually matters to our understanding of the gospel. How do we reconcile scientific beliefs and faith, and how do we respond to those who claim Jesus didn't actually exist at all? We look at why Jesus stuck as the most significant cultural figure ever and explain how liberating his message was and is for women. We also talk about how Christianity changed the game when it came to dignifying both women and children for the first time in history. Then, we explain why mom and dad are so fundamental to a child's understanding of both social issues and the gospel. --- Timecodes: (00:50) Age of the Earth (07:05) "Jesus didn't actually exist" (11:03) Jesus was God (14:50) Evidence for Jesus being raised from the dead (17:56) Basing entire world timeline off Jesus (20:00) Message of Jesus is liber

    01/11/2023 Duración: 34min

Today we’re joined by professor and apologist Dr. Sean McDowell to discuss his work as a professor and how to share the truth of the gospel with the younger generations. First we discuss some of the challenges of living and teaching in a place like Southern California that is seen as a hub of secularism and progressivism. Dr. McDowell explains how in our culture, the voices from outside Christianity are encroaching more and more, and when young people aren't ready to defend their faith, it's even worse. We talk about how to approach LGBTQ issues with younger generations and why starting by asking questions is so important. We explain why, despite the importance of feelings, they don't trump truth and morality. Today we’re joined again by Jeremiah Roberts and Andrew Soncrant, hosts of the podcast "Cultish," this time to discuss aliens. With more and more speculation about aliens in the media, we ask if it's actually possible for aliens to exist from a biblical standpoint. We take a look at the creation order and whether other sentient beings can exist outside our planet. Then we explain why extraterrestrial practices always seem to be connected to cult practices and talk about the idea that aliens are just demons. • Ep 897 | A Detransitioner on the Lie of Trans ‘Joy’ | Guest: Laura Perry Smalts (Part Two)

    26/10/2023 Duración: 46min

Today, we’re joined again by detransitioner Laura Perry Smalts, author of "Transgender to Transformed: A Story of Transition That Will Truly Set You Free," to continue her testimony of how she went from believing she was a man to embracing her womanhood under Christ. Laura shares the timeline of her hormone "treatments," double mastectomy and hysterectomy, and the moment she realized that these surgeries and treatments wouldn't actually make her a man. We discuss the common claim made by "trans" people that they are truly happier after transitioning and the truth that it's often a lie to keep up appearances and convince themselves of the lie. Laura shares her heartbreak at realizing she had lost the opportunity to have children and how God ultimately reached her at her lowest. We talk about the dignity in biblical womanhood, God's love for women, and how these truths led Laura to accept who God made her to be. We also share some advice on how to approach loved ones who think they're trans. Check out Laura's

  • Ep 896 | From 'Trans Man' to Transformed by Christ | Guest: Laura Perry Smalts (Part One)

    25/10/2023 Duración: 41min

Today, we’re joined by detransitioner Laura Perry Smalts, author of "Transgender to Transformed: A Story of Transition That Will Truly Set You Free," to share her testimony of how she went from believing she was a man to embracing her womanhood under Christ. We start off with Laura's childhood, during which she became convinced that her mother wanted her to be a boy. This, combined with early sexual abuse and not fitting in with other girls, eventually led her to believe she needed to become a man. Laura shares how desperate she was for male attention and the extreme behavior that led her family to begin worrying, as well as the transgender support group that first convinced her to seek "trans care." We discuss how testosterone initially made her feel amazing, but she quickly realized that the more she transitioned, the more imprisoned she was and that she would never truly become a man despite going through the motions. Stay tuned for part two! Check out Laura's ministry here: First Stone Ministries --- T
