For the fourth straight week, a football team joined host Tommy Cassell on the podcast as the Wayland football team -- fresh off a 35-0 rout of Concord-Carlisle -- came into the MetroWest Daily News to run routes, play some games, talk sports and part-take in some shenanigans with Cassell.    The four Wayland football players are seniors Mikey Lampert, Brooks Jones and Wellington Pereira, as well as junior quarterback Mason Bolivar. The Warriors chatted about football, wrestling, broken backs and having a parent that cultivates weed. At the end, the quartet played musical chairs with Cassell in a game called "Drop A Hint". Shallowater's Bryan Wood joins the show after a 58-8 win against Brownfield on Friday night to discuss the game against the Cubs, his team's perfect 5-0 non-district finish and what's next for the program after an open date this week.

The Natick boys football team faced a must-win situation in its Week 3 game against Walpole, and the Redhawks took care of business with a 42-14 win over the Rebels.    A big part of that triumph was the play of sophomore quarterback Will Lederman, who had four total touchdowns. Lederman joined host Tommy Cassell in this episode along with teammates Max Ferrucci, Felix Ferrucci and Declan McMahon.   The quartet of Redhawks talked all thing football with Tommy, while also discussing twinning, baseball, video games and at the end, the four Natick football players squared off in trivia on music.    And they show their age, by not knowing which band Justin Timberlake was part of when he started in the music industry.
