THREE TIME Grand Prix winner Giancarlo Fisichella is coming back Down Under to race in the S5000 Tasman Series at the VALO Adelaide 500 next week. We hear from the Italian to get his thoughts on coming back to the category, the driving challenge the cars present and much more.  Then we delve into the details of the 2023 Supercars calendar to find out what works, what could be better and what could come in the future.  That plus our usual HOTs and NOTs of the week that was and the week that will be - it's another big episode of On the Grid. 

ONE of the highlights of the Bathurst International event was seeing Steven Johnson back to his winning best in the Touring Car Masters, sweeping the weekend and dominating proceedings aboard his Ford Mustang. He joins the show to talk about that performance, the surprisingly large differences between the current Mustang and his title-winning ride, 'Sally', and also son Jett's racing career this weekend. Plus, he discusses the future for the famous Tru Blu Mk. III Falcon and what could occur to that car. We also preview this weekend's AMRS round at Winton, look back at all the highlights (and challenges) from Bathurst and Brazil, and a whole heap more as usual. 

SON OF A GUN Ben Bargwanna joins the show this week to discuss his impressive S5000 performance on the streets of Surfers Paradise, but also his strong season in Supercheap Auto TCR. Every bit as fun as his old man, Ben takes us behind the scenes of hustling the big open wheeler on the city streets, looks ahead to Bathurst's TCR finale' and Adelaide and gives us a clue about what his future could hold.  Dale Rodgers catches up with John Bowe at the Sandown Historic event last weekend. Then the team break down the Bathurst International this weekend, delve into the NASCAR showdown and deliver their usual pointed Hots and Nots from the week that was.

Then Schibecs, Craillsy and Walker run through their own Bathurst stories, from long hours, the mud, the rain and the sunshine around it. Crush dials in from Stateside to give us an insight on the incredible weekend and the unfolding IndyCar title battle, decided this weekend in California. Then we look ahead to Pukekohe's final fling this weekend, discuss all things New Zealand and see if we can agree that someone can beat Shane van Gisbergen (spoilers: They won't).
