In order to achieve a toned look you'll have to focus on burning off the layer of fat that is covering up your tummy. Tip: Don't obsess about crunches - instead focus on fat burning. Myth #2: Take diet pills to speed results. I know it's so tempting! The ads make compelling claims about the power of popping a pill, but don't fall for it. There is no ‘magic pill'. Diet pills are more likely to burn through your pocketbook than to slim you down. Tip: Don't pop a pill - instead burn calories with intense exercise. Myth #3: Turn to packaged diet products to boost results. Don't fall for the foods that are packaged as ‘diet' or ‘weight loss' aids. Quite often these products are packed with refined sugar and other artificial ingredients that your body doesn't need, and certainly won't help you attain that tight tummy. Basic Fat Loss Math⎟Lose Weight Using The Right Numbers

It’s actually much easier than you think, and I’m not talking about invasive, costly surgery, or grueling routines. All it takes is losing one pound each week. One single pound. Let’s break it down mathematically. A pound is 3,500 calories—spread that over 7 days and you need a 500-calorie deficit each day to lose 1 pound in a week. Your 500-calorie deficit can be done by a combination of increased calorie exertion (exercise) as well as a decrease in calories consumed (eating less). First, record your normal weekly exercise – look at everything from walking to participating in sports to exercising in the gym. This is your starting point. From here you’ll need to burn an additional 3500 calories on top of your normal weekly exercise. If you don’t currently exercise, then any new activity will count
