Scripture doesn’t give us an exact age or it’d be outdated every year! But it does make it clear earth isn’t millions of years old.

Suffering, disease, and natural disasters constantly capture the headlines and intrude into our own lives. And it makes people wonder, “why?”

The more we study, the more we learn that earth is special with just the right conditions for life.

Some people mock the biblical teaching that there was no death before sin by saying things like “so Adam never stepped on an ant before the fall?”

The foundation is in Genesis and God creating us male and female. As our culture drifts further from God’s Word, we see the consequences.

Biblical creationists like me believe that God created kinds—not species—of organisms with a huge amount of genetic variability built into their genes.

There are some Christians who claim nature is an extra book of the Bible. But consider this: in Isaiah it says, “the Word of our God stands forever.”

Nature can teach us some things about God and we should study it for his glory. But only God’s Word provides an objective starting point for all our thinking.
