Sorry it's been so long, we've had lives to live and, surprisingly, there's not actually been that much to talk about of late about Bolton Wanderers. So Dan is joined by Liam and Tom to discuss the games over the three weeks and everything else in between. The lads touch on the late debates to Middlesbrough and Cardiff City, and the extremely dull draw with Charlton Athletic, but they focus on the Whites actually winning a game, as they beat 4th placed Hull City 1-0, courtesy of Stephen Dobbie. As well as discussing the steady improvements, the lads also discuss which players have been impressive over the last four weeks, which spirals into a deep debate on playing youngsters. Then the current managerial 'farce' is discussed, with everyone ruling themselves out of the job at Bolton, who will actually get it? With Bolton Wanderers doomed to relegation to League One Dan, Tom and the returning Jonny try and lighten the mood somewhat. With everything sorted, for now, with the club there isn't an awful lot to talk about this week but the lads still manage to get over an hour of solid content. The show gets underway with a discussion on the weekend's 4-1 defeat at Derby County, which Dan attended. That then veered off onto a discussion on how the Whites should be playing as many youngsters as possible, no matter the score, and dealing with relegation: how will we do next year? Who will be our manager? That of course led onto talking about the bastardly wonderful Phil Brown and Kevin Nolan. After taking a break during the Easter weekend/international break, the Lion of Vienna Suite podcast is back with episode 52 as Dan and Tom record a two-man show at 9 in the morning. To put off having to talk about Bolton Wanderers the pair first talk in depth about England's stunning victory over Germany, the holy trinity of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Eric Dier, optimism going into the tournament, Jamie Vardy and what our starting XIs would be. It's been a mixed week for Bolton Wanderers, but the depressing football lead the tone for Dan, Tom and Jamie in episode 51 of the Lion of Vienna Podcast. After putting it off for as long as possible, the trio eventually talked about the astronimcally bad performance on Saturday that saw Bristol City stick six goals past a depleated team without reply. Jamie was in attendance, and he offered his insight on an awful day. It's a landmark day for Lion of Vienna Suite as the #LOVpod has reached the 50th episode mark, a feet that only 5% of podcasts ever make it to. To celebrate such a special occasion the wonderful Marc Iles joins the regular cast of Chris, Dan, Jonny and Tom, for a fascinating couple of hours of Bolton Wanderers chat. First up, with the club FINALLY being sold on the Thursday prior, the long, stressful four months was discusses and what it's been like to be supporters and reporters during such a turbulent time. Then a look to a possible bright future before deep diving into the grim present over the Jay Spearing situation, in which the club will owe Liverpool £100k if he plays again. A discusion on Saturdays limp defeat at the hands of Preston North End was then debated and how we must now truly be relegated.  Next up saw Marc take some questions from Twitter which gave a very interesting insight into the current state of Wanderers before the show was wrapped up with the biggest and possibly best League One

Today has been an historic day for Bolton Wanderers. With ups, downs, laughter, anger, hope, dismay and the constant refreshing of Twitter - and that was all within an hour or so. There are plenty of negatives to be discussed and they all will be in due course but, for now, it's time to concentrate on the positives and the future. A deal for owner Eddie Davies to sell the club to Sports Sheild has finally been agreed and, providing all goes well with the Football League, we will finally have a new owner in place and a potential end to these last few months of madness.  It's been a long time coming but now the end might actually, finally be in sight. This weeks episode of the #LOVpod, even for our own mid-to-high standards, is quite a brilliant one, with passion and laughter at Bolton Wanderers ever worsening predicament in abundance. Chris was joined by the returning Dan and Liam, this week. First up was a discussion about actual football, as Wanderers let a priceless 1-0 victor over Queens Park Rangers slip in the dying moments as a monumental cock up from Ben Amos allowed Matt Phillips to equalise. Following up on last weeks hilarities was always going to be a big challenge, and the LOVpod fellas certainly gave it their best shot on this weeks episode.
