Here's The Thing

After a brief late-summer hiatus, Andy K and Roiben return with a new episode of Here's the Thing. Rather than the usual format, we basically chat about what we've been up to since the end of August as well as hinting at one or two things that we intend to review in the future. (pending home-releases for rewatching) We also mentioned "Lee's BSL Songs" (http://www.youtube.com/user/lovesbth), a  really cool YouTube Channel of songs interpreted in British Sign Language.

In this episode, Roiben provides co-hosting duties once again. She tells us about ther ecent BBC TV Drama The Silence. We discuss Bank Holidays, and why they can be frustrating. And in the concluding part of our mini-arc on school, we discuss what it was like for Roiben as a diabetic.

This is another short episode. Roiben tells us about why she recommends the Psy Changeling series of novels. In When Worlds Collide, we start a discussion on attending school with disabilities by covering being deaf in mainstream education.

Having just watched the series finale, The Big Bang, Andy and Roiben discuss the latest story and also give a bit of a review of what their thoughts of the entire series was. In this additional little 'cast, I record some quick thoughts on how the Doctor Who finale The Big Bang will turn out. "Here's Something Else" segments will be little shorts like this.
