In reponse to a YouTube post by N7Kate, I give my opinion on the "Disk vs Digital" videogaming debate.   Personally, I come down on the side of digital these days but I go into a bit of detail as to why that's the case and why physical copies currently don't do much for me.

Andy rants about the latest episode of Doctor Who. It started off so well, building up to a really good plot revelation. Only to fall apart in the climax. SPOILER ALERTI talk directly about the ending. Watch before you listen!

In this episode Andy and Roiben discuss the first three episodes of the latest half-series of Doctor Who, talking about their likes, dislikes and hopes. Before that, they also briefly discuss a couple of other TV shows that they've been watching in recent weeks.

Firstly, Andy reflects on a weekend spent gaming with a bunch of friends during a trip up north. After this, Roiben joins in to make a start on discussing mental health issues. In particular we talk self-harm, owing to March 1st being Self Injury Awareness Day. IMPORTANT: This episode carries the "Explicit" tag for two reasons. Firstly, the gaming section gets sweary in places. Secondly, some of the topics covered in the Mental Health discussion can get serious, heavy, and potentially triggery. So just be aware that we will be openly discussing things surrounding the topic and if you're currently in a mood where this can trigger you, you may want to leave it until a better time. Also, as the gaming section was already a tad sweary, I have not edited out any strong language during the Mental Health section. And as this is an emotionally-charged topic, we do get a tad raw language-wise.

Colds have left Andy with a croaky voice and Roiben with little voice at all, so it is another Solo Andy episode this time around. He covers The Avangers, Mistborn, Mass Effect 3 and UK High Street shops shutting.

Andy flies solo this episode, outlining some of 2012's technology purchases. One of which is directly podcast-related.

In this episode, Andy and Roiben go over some useful tips for if you ever have to takke someone to the A&E Ward at hospital. They also discuss visiting people who are in hospital for a while. -------- Intro: Brief explanation of interruption to new schedule.Quick note about hospital visits taking up much of my free time.Good opportunity to visit a topic we had considered a while back.Segment 1 - A&EI have done a few A&E runs in the past. It is never a pleasant experience but there are a few tips that can come in useful.   * You will be asked questions. Take time to jot down or grab samples if appropriate. If your friend of family member is liable for A&E visits (e.g. long term illness complications) then keeping notes to hand can help.      * Their address details      * Their doctor?      * Contacts details (yours)      * Any meds they are taking. Doses if you can remember.  

We finally make a start on breaking the hiaitus as Andy talks up the Transformers comic "Last Stand of the Wreckers" and Roiben joins in to discuss deaf rapper Signmark and this autumn's Sencity London event

After finally moving and finally getting settled, I finally got around to recording a short "where the heck have I been" segment. This was actually ready a month ago, ready to upload the day my internet went down again. By the time it got back up, things got hella-hectic. Still, I'm finally back online (hopefully) permanently. And with many things to discuss on-mic some time soon.

Andy K here, just giving a quick update as to the status of the podcast. I've not given up on it. However, "Real Life" is intruding in a major, yet not-actually-bad, way. I'm now in the process od moving house. So much of my spare time is taken up with either packing or paperwork. And the rest is spent deperately trying to relax. So I decided to record a quick segment to basically say exactly this.
