In this episode, we were blessed to be able to visit Castle Church Brewing Company. And yes, blessed is exactly the right word. We had the chance to have some great beer and speak to the owners of Castle Church, Jared and Aaron. This was a great show. What a time! We were once again able to attend the Great American Beer Festival and 2018 did not disappoint. We were not able to attend all three days. However, we made the most of the Friday and Saturday sessions. We spoke with a lot of brewers. We spoke with a lot of the patrons who attended the festival. Yes, we got a little carried away at times. LOL! And of course, we had a lot of great beer. So, sit back and enjoy the show. Cheers!

Vintage Vinos is a very special place for Beer Is Fundamental. Our craft beer journey began at Vintage Vinos. Yes. We were introduced to craft beer in a wine bar. Ironic, isn't it. But, believe me. They provide some of the best in craft beer in this quaint but awesome place in the heart of Kissimmee, Florida. We sat down with the owner of Vintage Vinos, John Siudut and we were able to speak with some of our favorite people who also proudly call Vintage Vinos their favorite place. We had to make a special run to Atlanta. While we were there, we stopped by Scofflaw Brewing Company and they graciously allowed us to do a show. We tried several delicious beers. We even brought some home because they were so good.

This was our last stop on our Texas brewery tour and it was a great one. We stopped by Peticolas Brewing Company to try out some of their great beers. We had a chance to talk with Peticolas Special Events Coordinator, Michael Finley. He gave us the full rundown on all of the happenings at Peticolas and shared over 15 beers with us. In this episode, we traveled to San Antonio specifically to stop at Weathered Souls Brewing Company. This brewery has been on our wish list for a while and they did not disappoint. We did not get a chance to interview any of the brewers because they were busy preparing for a bottle release. Plus, they had to prepare for a special event that was being held that day, also. But, they made sure that we were taken care of and we really enjoyed their beer. BTW, we did get a couple of bottles of their new release. They really know how to brew beer at Weathered Souls. In this episode, we stop by our second Texas brewery. It is Turning Point Beer out of Bedford, Texas. It is sort of between Dallas and Fort Worth. Very nice place. We sat with and shared a beer with Bob, one of their favorite patrons. He gave us his take on Turning Point and we really enjoyed him and the beer.
