Healing Begins with Honesty - We tend to hide our deepest wounds and struggles, but healing comes when we stop concealing and start revealing. The gospel calls us to be fully known and loved, trusting that transparency with God and others brings freedom and growth. Comparison Hinders Authenticity - Comparing ourselves to others robs us of joy and prevents us from being real. In Christ, there is no place for comparison; instead, we are called to embrace the security of the gospel, which allows us to be genuine and transparent. The Gospel Provides Strength and Security - The gospel not only gives us the security we need to reveal our struggles but also the strength to carry the burdens of others. Resilience is Strengthened Through Trials - Resilience allows us to endure and grow stronger through physical, emotional, and spiritual adversity. Trials can either build us up or take us down, depending on how we approach them. Trials Reveal and Purify Our Hearts - Unavoidable and unpredictable trials act as a filter, revealing what is unworthy of our hope and drawing us closer to what truly matters, purifying our hearts and reducing our attachments to harmful things. Embracing Trials Leads to Spiritual Growth - Instead of resisting or escaping trials, ask what God is trying to change in you. The Cost of ControlDo you ask questions out of a desire to control situations rather than from genuine curiosity? Trying to manage outcomes often stems from a fear of disappointment, leading us to avoid taking faith-filled leaps. Our past disappointments can drive present disobedience, trapping us in a cycle of control. Expecting More, Experiencing MoreWhat if God is ready to exceed your expectations? By letting go of control and embracing faith, we open ourselves to greater joy, happiness, and security. Just as the exorcists in Acts 19 sought to manipulate God's power, we often limit His work in our lives by settling for our own control. Embracing God's PresenceRecognizing God’s presence in the ordinary moments can lead to extraordinary outcomes. Surrendering to His guidance allows us to focus less on the destination and more on the journey with Him. When we choose to let go of what's holding us back, we create space for God to work in and through us, unlocking a life filled with greater possibilities

Living with ExpectationImagine the impact if we actively expected God to move in the lives of those around us. We should feel a burden for the people closest to us who don’t know Jesus, recognizing the opportunities God has set up for us to share the gospel. No matter their situation, people may be closer to God than we realize, and our obedience can lead many to faith. The apostles missed the bigger picture because they were thinking too small—don't limit what God can do by expecting Him to follow your plans. Stay Open and CuriousKeep an open heart for the new things God wants to do. Ask Him, "What’s next?" Freedom Comes Through Sacrifice Real freedom often means giving something up. If you want financial freedom, you need a budget. If you want kids, you sacrifice time and energy. True freedom isn’t about doing whatever you want—it's about living within the boundaries that help you thrive. Learning from Corinth Just like Corinth, where people followed multiple religions, today’s culture often mixes different beliefs. Paul could’ve kept all his freedoms, but he gave them up to reach others for Christ, showing us that sometimes restricting ourselves has a greater purpose. We’re Made for Relationship We weren’t created to live for ourselves. Chasing pleasure only leaves us empty. True freedom comes from living the way God designed us—loving and serving others.
