We return to where the hills rise wild outside Arkham town, and explore The Colour Out of Space by HP Lovecraft. In this episode, we discover how Lovecraft came to write his classic fusion of horror and science fiction, and delve into the various tales that inspired him.

In the second part of our celebration of the marvelous movies of the late great Stuart Gordon, we voyage to the future with Space Truckers and Fortress, and delve into the past to discover the secrets of Castle Freak. We return to Lovecraft and Poe with Gordon's versions of The Black Cat and Dreams of the Witchhouse, and find different dreams coming turn in Ray Bradbury's The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit. Finally we journey in to the heart of darkness with his final movies, King of the Ants, Edmond and Stuck.

In this chapter we continue to look at horror videogames in the early 1980s, the golden age of the console. We exploring spooky games on the Intellivision such as Dracula and Ghost Manor on the Atari, face killer robots beneath the earth in Night Stalker and Dark Cavern, and then discover how classic movies such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween and Gremlins appeared on the Atari 2600. 

In this episode we explore horror in the golden age of the Atari VCS, AKA the Atari 2600, looking at terrifying titles like Haunted House, Alien, Frankenstein and untangling the connection between Donkey Kong and King Kong!

In this show we look at horror on the early home computers, with ghastly games released for the likes of the TR-80, the Apple II and the ZX81. Including terrifying titles such as The House of Usher, Deathmaze 5000, Mystery House, Asylum and 3D Monster Maze!
