Chris Colabello went undrafted after his senior year at Assumption College in Worcester,  He spent seven seasons in the Independent leagues before getting his shot within the Minnesota Twins organization. He won the International League MVP in 2013 .the same year in which he made his Major league debut, in 2014 he made the Twins starting lineup out of spring training, rotating between outfield, first base, and designated hitter. He had an amazing start to the season, batting .308 with 3 home runs, and 27 RBIs through his first 23 games. On April 26, he surpassed Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett's Twins franchise record of 26 RBIs in the month of April.his father, Lou, played baseball in Italy for seven years, later pitching in the 1984 Olympics. Cletus Seldin was born in East Yaphank, New York he was a star athlete At Longwood High School in Middle Island, New York, Seldin playing cornerback and wide receiver on the Longwood Lions football team, which won the 2004 Long Island championship, and wrestled and learned jiu jitsu. In his senior year he set the New York State deadlifting record for men weighing up to 145 pounds (66 kg), by lifting 470 pounds. Geoff Blum enjoyed a 14 year career in the majors where he batted .250 with 99 homers , He played over 1200 games in the majors the majority of them with the Houston Astros as well as the  Montreal Expos,Tampa Bay Devil Rays, San Diego Padres, Chicago White Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks. Maybe one of his greatest moments in the majors came at the expense of the Astros as during his stint with the White Sox, during the 2005 season, he faced the Astros in Houston's first ever World Series. Coming off the bench,He came up in a pinch-hitting role in the 14th inning of Game 3 where he drilled a home run over the right field fence for the game-winner. Bill Ripken was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 11th round of the 1982 MLB draft. He reached the major leagues in 1987, making baseball history  as he joined his brother on the team that his father  managed , marking the first time two sons on the same team were managed by there Dad,. He led the Orioles in batting average with a .291 mark in 1990. S.Preston is the man who according to his website was the guy in school we all hated because he was good at everything.  He made perfect grades, was captain of every team, played three instruments, and excelled at art, but what he really wanted  to do was to be in sports.  He won piano competitions, art competitions and mathematics competitions, but that didn't matter because, what he really wanted was to be in sports.
