History has been made. It took 92 years but a foreign language film has finally won Best Picture. After working with shorts for a few years, director Jérémy Clapin made his feature filmmaking debut this year with the Netflix animated film "I Lost My Body." The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier let year where it became the first animated film to win the Nespresso Grand Prize. It has since gone on to win various critics awards and receive a nomination for Best Animated Feature at the 92nd Academy Awards. Tasked with having to bring WWII Germany to life through the eyes of not just the story's youthful protagonist but also through the eyes of director Taika Waititi, costume designer Mayes C. Rubeo had a huge task in front of her.
