Making Room For Those With Special Needs- Eric Gentry
04/02/2019 Duración: 30minWe are dependent. All of us. That we are independent, self-made, strong—its all an illusion. As Paul, who tried to enter Asia, and was prevented by God, will tell you, we don’t go where we want to, we are allowed, much like the children who come to Jesus. And like those children, and as any of you can tell anyone around you, we don’t choose what comes our way in this life, Kingdom or otherwise, we receive it. Not always thankfully. We are not in control. We are not independent.

20181202- Christmas is Coming_ In the Wild
04/12/2018 Duración: 27minWilderness is a disruptive and destructive force in the world and in our lives. Biblically this is true. We look to powerful people to stop a spiritual force. They can’t. We look to scripture for a God who does (and he ultimately will), but we first find a God who does his work within the wilderness. Making a way where there seems to be no way.

20181126- Thankful_ The Fullness
26/11/2018 Duración: 26minGod is immense. All that immensity is wrapped up in the person of Jesus, and in those who are one with Jesus. Sometimes we don’t feel that fullness because we chase satisfaction instead. But like Christ, we should embrace God’s fullness, and be thankful because of it.

20181014- Hush_ How God Speaks
15/10/2018 Duración: 27minGod still speaks, though sometimes we don’t know it is God speaking. God speaks through phenomena. God speaks through dreams and visions. God speaks through angels. God speaks audibly. God speaks through humans. And God speaks in a still small voice. The right posture is: Speak Lord, for your servant is listenting.

20180923- Uproot_ Lust_ Eric Gentry
24/09/2018 Duración: 27minCulture thinks sex is good, and often the church says the opposite. But sex isn’t good or bad, its holy. Sex is the union of body and soul, a physical act with spiritual permanence. Jesus warns us about this, but statistics of sexual addiction are rampant. So 1) we & others do get hurt by our sexual sin of our bodies, 2) our bodies are eternal and 3) our bodies are not our own. Accountability helps to control our bodies for the sake of our souls.

20180909- Uproot_ Anger
11/09/2018 Duración: 23minIs it good or bad to be mad? The New Testament says bad, but of course God and Jesus get angry. Jesus gets angry for the sake of a man experiencing injustice. We tend to get angry because of our ego, not injustice. Even when mad for compassionate reasons, we tend to remain inactive. If anger can ever be righteous, it should be rare, for the sake of another, and producing compassionate action.
