A late equaliser from Daniel Podence made a good performance feel like a disappointing result, as Forest failed to capitalise on their chances and take all the points. Brennan Johnson's first half goal gave the Reds the advantage, but it could have been more, especially when Emmanuel Dennis failed to square to Morgan Gibbs-White in the second half. A stoppage-time penalty from Alexander Isak saw the Reds fall to their first home defeat since October, and record consecutive Premier League defeats. Emmanuel Dennis had given Forest the lead with an expert finish before Isak scored his first at the end of the first half. There was also time for another curious VAR call in the home team's favour, before Moussa Niakhaté's mistake gave Isak his chance to seal the win. Another bad away day for the Reds, who were lucky that VAR ruled in their favour after just three minutes, but still fell to another thrashing, this time at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur. Harry Kane scored two and Son Heung Min got the other, with Joe Worrall getting a consolation, and Andre Ayew missing a penalty which would have flattered the Reds. Forest ground out a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Leeds United in this relegation six-pointer. Forest were deservedly beaten by Marco Silva's Fulham, and despite a 20-minute period of pressure in the second half, can have no complaints about the result as the hosts offered far more threat in front of goal. A late goal by sub Sam Surridge earned the Reds a share of the spoils away at Bournemouth. The hosts had taken a first half lead and although the Reds had a good number of efforts on goal, Ryan Yates' first half header was ruled out for an offside. Even when Surridge did equalise, VAR had to check for offside, but the former Bournemouth man's goal stood. This felt like a symbolic result after Forest got battered at the King Power Stadium a few months ago, as a measure of how far the Reds have come. A dramatic night at the City Ground saw tempers flare, especially at the end after Forest won a penalty shootout to progress to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup. Wolves will argue that they were marginally the better team in normal time, forcing a number of saves from Dean Henderson and having a penalty claim that falls into the "seen them given" category. Eleven changes to the starting line-up and most of them underperformed as Forest crashed to a deserved FA Cup exit at the hands of Championship strugglers Blackpool. It was a big night for Forest - not quite must-win, but certainly must-not-lose against bottom of the table Southampton. Although the away team did not play amazingly, the Saints could offer absolutely nothing and Dean Henderson didn't have to make a save as Forest got their first away win this century in the Premier League. It was a comfortable victory for the home team as Forest huffed and puffed, but provided very little threat to the Manchester United goal. First half efforts in quick succession from Marcus Rashford and Antony Martial effectively killed the game, although things could have been different if one of Ryan Yates' efforts had crept in; the first was saved, and the second snuck in off the leg of Willy Boly, who was in an offside position. In the end it was a convincing and comfortable victory for the Reds, who put out a strong XI against Blackburn's much-changed team. Brennan Johnson got two goals and put in a strong showing, with Jesse Lingard also causing problems, and scoring a goal with a double deflection. JLingz also set up Taiwo Awoniyi's goal with a great pass which the Nigerian complemented with a good cut inside and finish.
