Suj joins James to discuss rotation concerns for the upcoming festive period with particular focus on spacing and rest days with context to try and ascertain where key players may well be rested in forthcoming weeks, There's analysis on what the outlook may look like in December for the likes of premium picks Mo Salah, Erling Haaland, Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer and where James has questions over the likes of Alexander Isak and Ollie Watkins who could well offer differential captaincy potential for some attractive fixtures... but only if they play! Or is it actually, that the schedule looks kiner than it has in previous years and perhaps there's not too much for Fantasy managers to be concerned about...? • Arsenal v Nottingham Forest | CotC with Adam Pritchard & Mark Sutherns | Planet FPL 2024/25

    14/11/2024 Duración: 01h03min

On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Arsenal fan Adam Pritchard and Nottingham Forest fan Mark Sutherns to discuss the FPL assets at their clubs and the current key talking points ahead of the GW12 meeting between the clubs at The Emirates. And it's two clubs who currently sit inside the top 5 on 19 points. Forest have very much exceeded expectation so far, so is a push for European qualification now a realistic goal? While for Arsenal the gap to leaders Liverpool is already 9 points, how concerning is this or do Arsenal now have a set of fixtures that will make them believe they can close the gap? There's discussion on key attacking Arsenal assets Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz, whether double Arsenal defence is the way to go, why Jurrien Timber is likely to attract increased attention and the importance of Martin Odegaard's return. While Forest assets, it now looks tough on the fixture ticker, is talisman Chris Wood now in the sell or avoid zone despite an impressive season? Or should he and a

  • Mo Domination | Planet FPL S. 8 Ep. 20 | GW11 Review | Fantasy Premier League

    11/11/2024 Duración: 02h15min

Suj and James discuss a miserable weekend, no, laugh at a miserable weekend of red arrows, failed Fantasy returns, and dismal home showing for the clubs they support! Yeah it's that kind of vibe. All the games reviewed as usual which included those disappointing days for West Ham and Tottenham and another disappointing day for vulnerable Manchester City, who were beaten by a Brighton side who now very much appeal for Fantasy managers and so to will Chelsea and Arsenal assets following their draw at Stamford Bridge. Both have very positive long-term fixtures. But the player the lads will probably want to but most is Alexander Isak, there's interest too in double ups on teams defensively, a Trent replacement may be needed, Mo Salah was on it again and provided another double point return ahead of facing the league's bottom side in Gameweek 12. • Brentford v Bournemouth | CotC with Tom Medd & Neil Grover | Planet FPL 2024/25

    07/11/2024 Duración: 01h10min

James is joined on Clash of the Correspondents by Brentford fan Tom Medd and Bournemouth fan Neil Grover to discuss the latest at their clubs, and some key FPL assets from within them ahead of the meeting between them in GW11 at The Gtech, and spoiler, goals are expected. Should goals arrive key talismen Bryan Mbeumo and Antoine Semenyo are likely to be involved. What are the prospects for these popular FPL assets both in the immediate and for the longer-term? There's also discussion on the best defensive assets from each with Mark Flekken, Sepp Van Den Berg and Milos Kerkez all featuring. Whilst upfront, there is perhaps surprisingly unanimous agreement on which of Evanilson and Yoane Wissa provides the best investment in the forward line for FPL managers. Plus, with Brentford having taken 13 points from 5 home games and Bournemouth off the back of 7 points in 3 consecutive games against Champions League qualifiers the question is posed of how much can these two clubs achieve for the rest of this season.

  • The 7.5-9.0 Forwards | The People's Poll ep. 153 | Planet FPL 2024/25

    05/11/2024 Duración: 59min

Suj and James have a look at five FPL forwards that James has been repeatedly warning recently that FPL managers shouldn't cut themselves off of, because although there are several good options below 7.5 (and one very good one above 9.0!) these five players may well show greater consistency and have more explosiveness. The 5 players in question (WishJ) are Ollie Watkins, Alexander Isak, Dominic Solanke, Kai Havertz and Nicolas Jackson. There's analysis of their statistics so far this season and a look at the fixtures ahead, with consideration to who their threats from within, their capability to be Fantasy talisman and much more. • The Dominator | Planet FPL S. 8 Ep. 19 | GW10 Review | Fantasy Premier League

    04/11/2024 Duración: 02h54s

Clayton joins James to discuss the weekend fixtures from Gameweek 10 with Mo Salah captainers doing well, but many other popular assets misfired, which included the majority of James' team, infact all of James' team misfired, but it was somewhat saved from being the Gameweek from hell by Dominic Solanke! And the Tottenham forward was also a surprise selection as part of Clayton's Wildcard which has performed well. On the Pod, discussion on all the games includes why James was confident Bournemouth could upset Manchester City, Newcastle's tactical structure that nullified Arsenal, Chelsea intrigued but failed to see off Ruud Van Nistelrooy's 'good lads' of Manchester United and fears for Gary O'Neil at Wolves only intensified after a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace. And FOMO might have hit James for the first time this season... On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Ipswich fan Paul Gaught-Allen and Leicester fan Aaron Lagor to discuss one of Saturday's bif 6 pointers at the bottom of the table at Portman Road. Ipswich remains winless and now have injuries and suspensions causing major alarm, particularly in the backline. 28/10/2024 Duración: 02h13min

Suj and James discuss all the weekend GW9 games as James hit gold with Bryan Mbeumo captaincy to take on Erling Haaland who despite some very big chances only scored once against Southampton - and now with Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saka and Mohamed Salah all scoring yesterday, some may be getting twitchy as to the value of the £15.4m forward. But Suj isn't pulling the plug just yet and despite some concern on social media didn't miss the deadline in a week where he also scored well. Lots of FPL assets are on radar with many enabling forwards appealing and there are concerns for some popular players like Gabriel and Dwight McNeil who may have picked up injuries. But the Podcast begins with an extended intro and the news that filtered through just after recording had concluded of Manchester United's decision to sack their manager! And thus, Gameweek NINE was to prove to be the the end for Erik TEN Hag Tomorrow on Planet FPL: Clash of the Correspondents, Ipswich Town v Leicester City with Paul Gaught-Allen and Aar

That's in part because of Chelsea's bright start to the season which included a spirited performance despite defeat at Liverpool, but is also due to on-going concerns that not all is well with Newcastle... but why? All the key FPL assets covered and with both set for positive fixture swings in Gameweek 12 there's plenty to cover with thoughts on Chelsea's defensive assets, the prospects for Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isak going forward, there's advice for Noni Madueke owners and James is very keen on investing in Nicolas Jackson.
