This is the final episode of the Pink Wheelnuts Podcast. A quick look back at the inception of the show and a fondness for the people that have come thru my life from the show. Delete this feed from your podcast aggregator because it will be dead on December 10, 2024. And be thankful that I wasn't belting out these songs while driving.

Fey warns about the impending but sooner termination of the Pink Wheelnuts website. A quick note to Ranger John about self driving Teslas.

Fey goes to the dentist on newly installed snow tires. The Tesla gets a new 12 volt battery. Fey didn't have to pay for the tooth repair.

Fey takes a cold morning run to Costco and talks about loose toothbrushes. A lengthy discussion about car batteries. Fey gets a (one) day job.

Fey talks about all the home improvement projects he has been working on this summer and a little bit of camping and family time. Fey gives condolences for Archerr's passing. Will Fey sell his Porsche? Fey drives like a maniac.

Fey takes a hot drive to talk about his latest activities such as the RV inverter project to be used on a 3 week camping trip to see his brother and other people. Fey gets tonnes and tonnes of rocks delivered to his front yard so he can build a zero-maintenance yard. Fey waits for a concrete contractor to come build a driveway at the front of his house.

Fey pokes his head out of podfading to make a plea for people to talk about Big Fatty. Fey talks about phase 1 of his RV inverter installation being completed and getting the wheel alignment done. All cars are on their summer tires now. Fey spots some secret car prototype tests of some BMWs or Porsches. Mother Anderson's transmission has been replaced with a used one. Archer is possibly an assassin. Fey and Mr Anderson will be making a zero-maintenance rock yard and a new concrete driveway. Fey goes to Hawaii and is not impressed with the whole experience of traveling by air and paying for expensive hotels.

Fey comes to the rescue of Mother Anderson and tows her dead car to the Mercedez dealer for repairs. Fey talks about torque converters, gears, and valve bodies. Fey is going to Hawaii to do nothing in particular. Report on the status of the RV Inverter installation. Congratulations to Ismail and Scotty the Little Aussie Battler getting civilly joined.

Fey reveals his age. Fey talks about installing a 4000W inverter in his RV Trailer on his way to Costco but complains about the long time it takes to "go to town." Winter is winding down so Fey serviced his snow blower. Fey talks about his anal service tracking spreadsheets. Are large electric vehicles taxing the environment?

Fey comes out of podcast retirement to announce his possible podcast retirement. A long-overdue drive in Dorian Gray to Costco to catch you up on activities. Shout out to Harley and KC in Denver who want me to come to Colorado to fix things. Fey prepares for a trip to Hawaii, and Fey's favourite Aunt dies. Talking about the passing of Midwest Matt. Mr Anderson is threatening to ACTUALLY retire this year and we will be doing a bit more RV-ing. Fey breaks the law.

Fey WAS NOT detained at the border and drove through a snow storm to return home. Engaging four wheel drive in the snow under heavy load. Complaints about service centre people not providing complete information. Trying to prepare for winter by getting winter tires on all the vehicles. Fey can't decide if the word is snow THROWER or snow BLOWER. Cars covered in ash.

Fey is 8 days from Canada and can't wait to get home. Boondocking sucks. Fey is tired of hauling and setting up his trailer. RV campgrounds that are just paved parking lots. A major pooplosion in the campsite. The major flaw in our travel plans - too short of time. Fey is missing his cars and his office. Fey's trailer tires are wearing out.

Fey has arrived in Palm Springs, Palm Desert. Fey starts the show with a list of complaints about dust and dirt, heat and burrs and skinny palm trees. Sharp turns off the freeway exits. Diesel is costing $9.30 CDN per gallon. Can I turn right on a red light when there are two right turn lanes? Ranger John asked about chunks of tires on the freeways. Fey is going to an Apple Store. What will he buy?

Fey is 6,000 feet high at a campsite run by a couple of Friends of Dorothy (maybe). The RV fridge has been totally restored to factory functionality. Fey meets a MAGA Republican who needed help. Why are trailers required to travel at 55 mph on the highways? Why do the 4-way stops not have signs identifying them as all way stops? Feys sees an over-fuelling douchebag.

Fey is in California and talks about the Oregon coast and enjoying the beaches but not the lack of Internet. Fey's house is no longer under extreme threat of burning down from the forest fires, although the fires are definitely not out yet. Fey deals with a broken RV fridge. Is the phrase "jury rig," or "jerry rig?" Why is cell service so bad in the USA? Sorry I missed a lot of the last Pride 48 live streaming weekend.

Fey is in Washington state and heads out to do some grocery shopping and chores. His house hasn't burnt down and the fires are not significantly larger but they are moving and spreading a little bit. Some of the evacuation orders are downgrading to evacuation alerts. Initial reports that 130 structures lost and 35 structures damaged by fire in his area. Having trouble getting Canadian news in the United States. Driving my 50-foot rig on Interstate 5. Battling with the differences between mileage and kilometre speeds and fuel tracking. Staying at Thousand Trails and the lack of full service hook-ups (IE, no SEWER). The Canadian equivalent prices of things.

Fey runs from the advancing forest fires in his neighbourhood and talks about the experience of discovering fire coming toward his home. Fey and Mr Anderson debate on whether to evacuate or stay.
