Un documentaire à charge contre le président rwandais Paul Kagame, l’accusant de crimes de guerre pendant le génocide, de massacres au Congo, d’assassinat politique et d’être responsable de l’attaque contre l’avion du président Habyarimana. Dans une lettre adressée au directeur général de la BBC, Ibuka estime que le documentaire nie la réalité du génocide de 1994 et demande à la BBC d’arrêter la diffusion du documentaire. « Nous, rescapés du génocide contre les Tutsis au Rwanda, sommes indignés par le déni flagrant du génocide contre les Tutsis véhiculé par votre documentaire… », commence ainsi la lettre.

The current president of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, has long been portrayed as the man who brought an end to the killing and rescued his country from oblivion.
