Eddie Shack was first signed by The New York Rangers He made the NHL in the 1958–59 season and played two years for the Blueshirts.He would go on to  play for 5 other National Hockey League teams from 1959 to 1975. Kakko was selected as the game’s First Star. According to NHL Stats and Information, Kakko is the first 18-year-old who has registered a multi-goal game in Rangers history. He has tallied a goal/point in each of the last two games (three goals) and in four of the last seven games (five goals, one assist). Kakko leads all 18-year-olds in the NHL in goals this season (six). Kakko has recorded eight points (six goals, two assists) in 2019-20; his six goals and eight points are both the second-most by an 18-year-old in Rangers history.
