The Oscars gave Kevin Hart an ultimatum: Apologize to the LGBTQ community for your tweets about homosexuality or don't host the Academy Awards. Hart ended up doing both and the debate ensued: is he homophobic or is the LGBTQ community overreacting about light-hearted tweets? On a lighter note, the guys talk about their favorite holiday movies and mention "Trading Places" as one of their top ones. The film's premise has two characters played by Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd who essentially "trade places" as one is a street con artist and the other is a snobby investor. Naturally the movie delves into the nature vs nurture debate. The guys give their views on which one matters more.

Over Thanksgiving weekend many women who offer sex related services such as nude videos and photos through social media were being mass reported to the IRS by men. The issue quickly went viral with #ThotAudit trending in the top 10 on Twitter. From the MGTOW and INCEL movement to the typical Instagram model this issue had many people intrigued. The Apes break this situation down and give their take on the many social layers of this topic. The guys share their thoughts on the new Lion King "live-action" teaser trailer. Finally, the guys talk about the best video game to movie adaptions and why so many video game based movies end up flopping in the box office.

The Apes discuss what they think is good money. Would a bigger paycheck make a person happier or does it depend on different individuals? The Democrats won the House majority but Republicans kept the Senate so what did the midterm results determine going forward into the 2020 Presidential Race? Did the Democrats get the answers they needed to be better suited to face Donald Trump? What happened with the so called blue wave? Michael Myers is terrorizing the big screen and the guys share what they liked and disliked about the film. The guys then share what they like to do to celebrate Halloween from what movies they like to watch to what times they reminisce about when they celebrated the holiday as kids. Was throwing eggs and rapping toilet paper around people's property a bad thing to do during Halloween or is that a cornerstone to being a child during Halloween season? The guys naturally delve into what it means to being a child and how moments of mischief and trying times can equip children to deal with life. Mid-Term elections are almost here and K. Cartoon and Rx Phonics give their thoughts on what the results could mean for Republicans and Democrats. The left has yet to learn from 2016 and this could be a huge wake up call if they don't fare well come election night. Also, the guys give their thoughts on a limited HBO series from a group of podcasters called "Pod Save America." 

Kanye West visits Donald Trump at the White House and the media lose their mind. Was their reaction warranted or should Kanye be able to express his honest thoughts? Is Kanye West dangerous to the left's system of thought? K. Cartoon and Rx Phonics give their thoughts on Kanye's White House visit and break down what Kanye West was talking about. 

The guys tackle three different political subjects and break them down in this edition of Hanging With Apes. First, the Apes bring up the movement of people that take issue with Columbus Day as holiday and want it to be known as Indigenous People’s Day. K. Cartoon and Rx Phonics bring up the many flaws in that debate and pose the question “What difference does it make now?” The next topic revolves around the guilty verdict of former Chicago Police Officer Jason Van Dyke for the 2014 shooting of Laquan McDonald. The City of Chicago was prepared for protests and riots as Van Dyke was found guilty of Second Degree Murder and 16 counts of Aggravated Battery with a Firearm. As the discussion progresses, in-depth observations are made about some of the city’s protesters. Finally, the episode concludes with a back and forth about the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court and what that means for the #metoo movement.

The guys then break down the Brett Kavanaugh sexual allegations situation. Are democrats using this situation as a way to stall a Kavanaugh nomination? On this episode of Hanging With Apes the guys start by giving their thoughts on Eminem's surprise album, "Kamikaze." Slim Shady is back with a vengeance, dissing rappers Drake, Lil Yachty, Lil Pump, Lil Xan, Machine Gun Kelly, Migos, Tyler The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt as well as rap critics Joe Budden, DJ Akademiks, Lord Jamar and Charlamagne Tha God. With the recent passing of Senator John McCain the guys go over his life and how they vividly remember his campaign against Barrack Obama. They also go over the differences between the late senator and President Donald Trump in terms of politics and personality. The episode then shifts into a discussion about Donald Trump's long time attorney Michael Cohen taking a plea deal and appearing to turn against his client. K. Cartoon and Rx Phonics then express their theories on the matter and where they see things going.
