Last week Pastor Taylor talked about how we need to be a true New Testament church. This week, we look into how we can actually become that New Testament Church.

A lot of times we talk about wanting to be the New Testament church. But do we really know what that means? Many of us have the perception that to be a New Testament church you must have it all figured out, that you essentially must be perfect. But God is not calling us to be perfect, He's calling us to be better-better at loving Him and better at loving others. We are struggling for imperfection. That's what it means to be a New Testament church.

Special gues speaker Bro. H.E. Lefeavour speaks to us today about the importance of a name, specifically the name of Jesus which has power over all names!

Sometimes we feel like we're stuck in the middle of a storm in our life, and no matter how much we cry out to God for a miracle He seems to be silent. But sometimes God is allowing us to weather the storm so He can prepare us for the miracle He has planned for us. We just have to believe and have faith.

As a church and especially as a nation, we desperately need to go back to the basics: Prayer. In part 1 of this series on Spirit Filled Prayer Pastor Taylor talks about the basic concept of spirit filled prayer. There is no certain time or place or way that we should pray...we should pray all the time, wherever we are, and pray as if we are talking to our best friend, because that's what God is. And He delights in our prayers no matter how long or short, eloquent or not eloquent.

Psalms 100:4 says to "Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise: give thanks to Him and bless His name!" This is such a simple and well known verse but one that is so vital to our daily spiritual walk. Bad things will happen. Trials will constantly come at us. But if we learn to worship God in spite of everything going on, we will see a major change in our lives!

Sometimes in our life we just need to stop and really look at how wonderful our God is. In this message, Pastor Taylor talks about just that. In the midst of our trials and hard times we need to bless the Lord because He is worthy, He is love, he is faithful - He is, has been, and alawys will be everything we need! So for that we need to bless the Lord always!

Week 2 of our series on Trusting God

Many of us sometimes struggle with fully trusting God in all areas of our life. But in order for us to fully receive the life God has promised us we have got to make Him the source and platform of our trust. Trust the fact that God is trustworthy and that He cares for you!

Many of us know the story in the Bible of Job. God allowed all sorts of things terrible to happen to him but in it all Job remained faithful to God. Each and every one of us will face many trials  throughout our life, but it's how we respond to those trials that really matters. We must trust God in the trials just the same as in the blessings.
