For a lack of 10 righteous men Sodom & Gommorah was destroyed. For lack of 10 righteous men the Israelites wandered the desert for 40 years. For a lack of 10 righteous men Joseph's family was divided and his father deprived of his son for 21 years. All too often you read stories like these in the Bible where God's judgment was brought on His people simply becauase he could not find a righteous man. Let us not be like these "ten unrighteous men" but rather lets be a righteous people, pleasing to God. "Ten righteous men" could make a difference in our families and our world TODAY!

Our minister of music, Brian Gibson, talks to us today about having the heart of a servant. When Christ came to this earth He came to be a model of how we should live and as such He spoke a lot about being a servant to everyone around. Christ Himself said He did not come to be served but to serve - that is how we should live our lives; with the heart of a servant.

We were honored today to have Brother Rocky Glenn speak in the service. He tells us the story of his own life, how he felt bound and condemned by his past failures and mistakes. But God looked beyond his condemnation and saw his child. He can and will do that for each and every one of us.

None of us are strangers to the idea of wanting something and wanting it badly enough that we would do anything to get it. However, when it comes to our relationship with God we tend to become content and not have the drive to do whatever it takes to build that relationship as much as we can. So the question is, how bad do you want it? How bad do you want to serve God and love Him? Do you want it bad enough to do whatever it takes?

We've all had that moment as a child when our parents would ask for us to share something, french fries for example, and our immediate reaction was to say "No! It's mine!" As children we failed to realize that those "fries" came from our parents and as such was not ours to begin with. We, as christians, do this very same thing with God when it comes to our tithes. God asks for only 10% of our income yet we have a tendency to say "No! It's mine!" We must realize that God gave us all that we have and He simply wants us to give back with a heart of love and be a part of the blessings He gives.

On this Mother's Day we're honored to have a very special speaker, our first lady, Sister Pam Taylor talk to us about being vessels in the house of God.

How often do you, as a Christian, tell people about your faith in God? How many times in the past 5 years have you led someone to Christ? If you truly believe in salvation -in a heaven and hell, how much do you have top hate someone to not tell them about it? These are some of the hard questions that we discuss today as we talk about being "difference makers". There is a lost, hurt, and dying world out there who needs you to be bold about your faith, tell your story, and point them to Christ.

It's Easter Sunday, the day that our Lord rose from the grave and made salvation possible for everyone. Sometimes, however, we may not feel worthy of this great grace God offers us. We may feel that our faults, our sins, our shortcomings are too many. but Chirst, in His infinte love and mercy, looks beyond our faults and sees us for who we truly are.

We've all heard the story about Palm Sunday when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey and the crowd laid palms down and cried "Hossanna to the King!" But on this Palm sunday, Pastor Taylor takes us a little deeper into the true meaning of Palm Sunday and it's huge siginificance to not only the Easter story, but to the story of our faith as a whole.

Today we celebrate Pastor Appreciation Day and were honored to have Pastor Taylor and sister Pam's son, Josh, speak to us. Josh gave us a message about having our "vision impaired". Sometimes we view God through the blurry lens of outside influences, such as our friends or family who can sometimes warp our view of God based on how they treat us. And sometimes we see God only as the Old Testament, earth flooding, wrath bringing God. But Josh challenges us to see God through the lens of Jesus, full of love and mercy. Even when we think he's against us, He's always for us.

When we give our lives to the Lord he essentially wipes our slate clean and allows us to start over; in other words, He gives us a blank canvas. But inevitably that blank canvas gets dirty, gets marks. And we as Christians have a tendency to try to hide those marks because we're afraid of what people will think of us. But God doesn't want us to hide our flaws, he wants us to be vulnerable with them so that He can reveal to us the true Masterpiece that He has created us to be.

Throughout this series of "Breakthrough" we've focused a lot on the aspects of worship, praise, and participation. This week we turn our attention to the culmination of all those things happening, Revival. When we as a church commit ourselves to prayer and seeking the Holy Spirit we begin to see a Breathrough for Revival not only in our own lives but in our church and the world around us.

Many people consider treasure to be money, wealth, or material things. But the real treasure lie's in things that matter most such as love, family, children etc. Today we focus on the latter, our children, and how they are not only one of the greatest God given treasures, but how they are also a heritage, God's workmanship, and all around wonderful.
