As a body of believers we were not called or even created to be a spectator in the Kingdom of God. Rather, we need to be full participants in the work that God is doing all around us. If we do this, we can be sure to find breakthrough in our lives.

We were honored tonight to have special guest speaker Denise Purcival speaking for our special ladies only service. Denise comes to us with a message of hope. In Christ, there is always a hope that you can cling to no matter what your situation. You may feel helpless and hopeless, but you are never without hope.

We were honored today to have our state World Missions representative, Terrell Brinson, come and share with us about the great work God is doing in Columbia and Ecuador largely in part because of our church's giving in the past year. Bishop Brinson also spoke about not just hearing the voice of God, but responding to it. If we respond to the voice of God, miracles, much like the ones that have happened in Columbia and Ecuador through our obedience and giving, can and will happen all around us everyday!

This week we conclude our message on "Breakthrough by Praise". Pastor Taylor goes a little more in depth about the different forms of praise mentioned in last weeks message and how these acts of worship and honor to God can completely transform our lives as well as our Church.

Continuing with the message of "Breakthrough by Praise", Pastor Taylor goes deeper into the many meanings of the word "praise" and how that simple word alone tells us how God desires us to praise Him. He doesn't want us to sit on our hands or wallow in sorrow, rather He wants us to rejoice and be expressive with our worship to Him by singing, shouting, and bowing before Him. Let your praise be an expression of your love and greatfulness to God!

As we begin to dive into this theme of "2014: A Year of Breakthrough" Pastor Taylor talks to us about how our praise can be a catalyst for breakthrough in our lives.

Special guest speaker Reggie Dabbs tells us the story in Matthew 8:1-3 of the man with leprosy who hid under a rock waiting for Jesus because he feared the crowd would kill him due to his disease. Reggie challenges us in this message to come out from under our rock, no matter what reason we have for hiding, and see Jesus coming down the mountainside with open, loving arms waiting to heal us.

2014 is here and as a church we are believeing that God is going to give us a year of breakthrough. It's time to move out of the dry "summer" of our spiritual walk into the blessings and promises of God's harvest.

Today we were honored to have Pastor Taylor's son, Josh minister to us. In his message he challenges us to examine our faith and see if it determines the way we live our lives and if it glorifies God.

Hope is a very important part of our lives and of the message of the Bible. Hops isn't wishful thinking but rather favorable and confident expectaton. When Christ came to earth as a baby in a manger, he came as hope. he brought hope into a hopeless world and now we can rejoice because Hope is Here.

Our daily lives are filled with struggles and hardships, painful situations, conflicts with those around us, and so much more. But in all of the bad we must remember there is also a lot of good and so many things we can be grateful for. As we continue this series on 30 Days of Thanks, the challenge we hear in this message is to approach life with an "Attitude of Gratitude" - not only in these 30 days, but in your everyday life. Don't take for granted the blessings, big and small, that God has given you. 

November is a time when we begin to prepare for the holidays and all they bring; family gatherings, big feasts, gifts, and so many other things. While none of these are bad things, we want to challenge and encourage you these next 30 days of November to spend a little less time focusing on the festivities and take more time to give thanks. Thanks for family. Thanks for friends. Thanks for provision. Thanks for prosperity. But most of all, for the many blessings of our heavenly Father. Beginning with His gift of salvation through His Son Jesus Christ.

Today we concluded our series "Sustained" by talking about the Holy Spirit and His ability to Sustain our faith. He does this by being our Counselor, by Indwelling us, by Empowering us, and by Sealing us.

Today we honored our many loyal and faithfull volunteers and talked about how one person, one volunteer, can make a world of difference. It's the Power of One.

In week 5 of our "Sustained" series, Pastor Taylor continues with his "Sustained By His Grace" message in which he paralled the story of Mephibosheth in the Old Testament to the story of God's grace to us. Today we look deeper intp that and learn how God's grace and favor gives us, no matter what state we are in, a place at the King's table.

The final night of our quarterly District Celebration. Tonight we were blessed with worship from Dora Church of God's choir and preaching once more from Bishop Thomas Propes.
